AD Integration with PeopleSoft

I'm trying to integrate Microsoft Active Directory with PeopleSoft through SSL Port. We are currently on PeopleTools 8.51 and our AD root certificate is 2048 bit.

I've followed the steps outlined in Using LDAP Over SSL (LDAPS) However, when i try to establish a connection, i get SSLHandshakeException error messages,

I saw an article that app server only support 1024 bit key for PT8.51. I'm wondering if the error message i get is due to this or am i missing anything with the setup? Could some please assist me?
