Importance of bouncing the APP server and process scheduler.

Hi,

I really wanted to know from long time that in what circumstances we reboot the application server and process schedulers. I have questions below. I know those might silly/stupid questions to you but I want to clarify.

1. Rebooting the application server and process schedulers daily improves the performance by releasing the IPC resources and loading again?

2. Does it prevent the issues that happen?

3. Rebooting the process schedulers daily avoid the processes that go to NO SUCCESS or ERROR?

4. Totally whats the benefit of bouncing the app server and process schedulers.
