unable to connect OUD from OAM11gr2 console!!

I am keep trying to connect OUD from  OAM11gr2.

I want to use OUD as identity store. So i was trying to create OUD store in OAM console but unable to do it.

The location i am trying is hostname:389 or 1389 and Base DN:cn=Directory Manager and password as i was given while setup OUD.

When i try to start ./star-ds i get somthing like Could not acquire an exclusive lock on file  .... Please Help me ... i cant progress here!!

Please let me know ... What would be the wrong!! Thanks
