How does Customer Order fulfillment from a physical store work in RMS V14?

In Commerce anywhere RMS 14 White Paper available in Oracle Support, the new concept of Customer Order Reservations is mentioned.

If OMS decides that a physical store is going to fulfill the inventory then a message is sent to both RMS and SIM about fulfillment order which then Reserves the inventory at the store.

QUE: Is any transaction created for the customer reservation? Transaction as in Stock Ledger transaction.

The inventory will stay in reserve status until RMS receives notification that the order has been shipped from the store based on receipt of a sale transaction from the OMS through ReSA.
