PS Upgrade Approach

Hi,

We have production environment on sql server with 8.9 App and 8.47 tools. We want to migrate prod env to Oracle(11gR2) platform and then upgrade to 9.2 App and 8.53 tools.

Here two approaches are available.

1. Single step approach

2. Multi step approach

Please suggest which approach i should follow.


Please suggest document that gives clear information on approach, that we should follow.

I am asking this question as informational to gain enough knowledge.
