Holdbacks on vouchers and capital projects
Hi All,
We're curious how other organizations handle statutory, warranty, deficiency, etc holdbacks within the Accounts Payable module as it relates to large capital projects. Currently, we hold a portion of the payment back at the voucher. For example, if we're issuing a $100,000 payment and there's a 10% statutory holdback, we'll create two payments for the one voucher; one payment for $90,000 which will actually be paid and one for $10,000 which will be placed on hold until we're authorized to release it. We keep going in this fashion for each progress payment and it ends up being quite user intensive
