Should we use "Get Current" option when doing PeopleSoft 9.2 Upgrade

We are upgrading from HCM 9.0 to HCM9.2 and have already applied 'Reqired at Upgrade' fixes to Upgrade Source Image (Released mid 2013). Because the upgrade source image was released in mid year 2013 and won't be up-to-date, should we apply use "Get Current" option (PUM) and apply all such updates to source environment before starting the intial pass.
