Clearing Cookies

A lot of user's have issues signing in to our end application. Especially if they try using a bookmark (or a saved icon) and then it's time to change their password. The bookmarked page will not work.

The user has to go to internet options and delete to cookies and temporary internet files. Why is that?

The workaround is to:

> change your password (after it expires)

> delete the cookies/internet files

> delete the current bookmark

> log on with the new password and then save the page as a bookmark (once logged in)

However, these situations are very frustrating and confusing for the end user who does not have experience with all this. They try signing in with the correct password but get an invalid username/password error, they try a couple times but then get logged out.
