leave submission along with approval hierarchy.

Hi,

   I am currently developing SSHR in Mobile Applications. When Initiating a leave requst and submitting for approval, is there any seeded API through which the data enters into the transaction tables ? How the transaction  Document has been created? I am using  R12. I am currently calling the API 'HR_PERSON_ABSENCE_API.CREATE_PERSON_ABSENCE'. But while submitting this, the leave gets approved and goes to the base table 'PER_ABSENCE_ATTENDANCES', instead to going into the transaction tables for approval. How can i achieve this ?
