AR interface from external system with VAT/Service tax

Hi Team,

Need urgent help on AR interface.

if we import data from external system in 12.1.3, will it automatically update settlement tables and it's accounting for service tax and VAT

Eg

Basic Amount 100/-

VAT 10/-

When we create manual AR invoice, it would generate VAT invoice and its accounting with impacting necessary tables of settlement as soon as invoice is completed.

Will it happen for imported transaction. ?
