PUM strategy for Peopletools 8.54

Hello,

Peopletools 8.54 is somewhere around the corner and we are eagerly waiting for the RVP and the GA. I have a question on the PUM release strategy related to Peopletools.

Once Peopletools 8.54 becomes GA will the subsequent Peoplesoft Images be released with the latest version of peopletools, or will there be multiple versions of the same image with different peopletools releases.

Once this PUM image is released with a different peopletools release will the customer need to upgrade to the same peopletools release (as of the latest PUM) to apply the fixes from the PUM image ?

I know this is a hypothetical question for now. But may be this is the scenario we are looking at near future and I felt its good to have a clarity on this. It would of great help to customers in strategizing the maintenance plan for their environments.
