Kerberos not fully working in PT8.53.10 due to JAVA 7?

Every week, we reboot our app/web server.  This is a Windows 2008 server.  From another server, we use the windows sc command to remotely start the app and web server services for our PeopleSoft environment.  The app and web server start correctly, but the kerberos authentication does not work.  Prior to upgrading to PT8.53.10 (when we were on PT8.52.06), this worked correctly.  We did not change any hardware or OS as a part of the upgrade.

We have found, that kerberos works correctly in PT8.53.10 as long as the user set to start the app server windows service logs in to the server before attempting to start the services.  This is a new requirement as of PT8.53.10.  In PT8.52.06, the user did not have to log into the server prior to starting the services to get Kerberos to work.  I believe it is because PT8.52 was on Java 6 and PT 8.53 is on Java 7.  I think Java 7 handles kerberos slightly different.  Does anyone know if there a way to configure our instance to
