Upgrading FSCM from 8.9 to 9.2 when can I apply application fixes

Hi,

We're upgrading from FSCM 8.9/PT 8.52 to FSCM 9.2/PT 8.53. We're on SQL Server.

Per the instructions I have only installed Required for Upgrade fixes to my 9.2 Demo, which is my source in the initial pass. I used the latest PUM image 9.2.005.

However, today a question came up about application fixes, and when they can be applied. The documentation states "Do not install any application fixes during the upgrade process....You can apply application fixes after you complete the upgrade."  However, since we're looking at a 10+ months project, there will be thousands of application fixes to apply after the upgrade, and we'll have to go through another long project to apply them.
