RMS overage transaction

Hi All,

I have one doubt here :

Suppose for a Item I, allocation A, carton C, CDC is sending 4 qty to RDC in 2 chunks i.e.

for this 2 shipments records will get created

I A C qty_ecpected=2 and qty_received=null

I A C qty_ecpected=2 and qty_received=null

Now when receiving for the same will occur:

I A C qty_ecpected=2 and qty_received=4

I A C qty_ecpected=2 and qty_received=0

How tran_data posting is done in this case . What role overage transaction plays in this. and how inventory is affected with this.
