Virtualbox images - Can hostname and ip be reset on a clone ?

We are currently implementing FSCM92 with Tools 8.53, using Virtualbox 4.3 on a Windows 7 host.

We would like to maintain a rolling baseline image which represents all maintenance deployed throughout our SDLC instances.

To accomplish this, we were hoping that Virtualbox would allow us to perform a clone from another virtual guest, and then change the host and ip configurations on this new clone.

Note:  The virtual guest source and the newly cloned virtual guest would reside on the same physical host.

Is this possible ?
