Data Migration from Legacy System(India Localization)

in Financials for India - EBS (MOSC) Question

Hi Gurus,

Need an important clarification. We are in the process of migration to Oracle and preparing for Go-live with 31-Dec-13 Period end data.

The Plan is that we will do a catch up entries for Jan-14, Feb-14 and Mar-14 in Oracle. So when we are setting the Oracle, most of the set up require an effective date, which oracle accepts it as current date only and does not accept the Old date like EBT setup( Dummy setup for AR), Tax Definition etc.,

So we are setting up the Oracle in Apr-14 will I be able to do a Service Tax and TDS entries for old transactions Jan-14 to Mar-14.
