Registering OAM 11gR1 with eBS CU2

I have recently upgraded SSO 10.1.4.3 to OAM 11gR1 (11.1.1.7). I am trying tyo register it with an eBS application (11.5.10.2).  OAM 11gR1 is certified with all versions of eBS R12. OAM 11gR1 is not certified with eBS CU2.

I find it very strange that eBS CU2 is certified with 11gR2 and 10gR3 of OAM but not the one in the middle (11gR1). Can this be explained why Oracle do this? Is it possible to get OAM 11gR1 working with eBS CU2? Is it necessary that after upgrading from SSO 10.1.4.3 to OAM 11gR1 that I need to upgrade again to 11gR2 in order that it will work with eBS 11.5.10.2?
