LDAP Search Hangs when groups have circular reference

Hi,

Our administrators use ODSM to add child groups to parent groups. It seems there is no way to prevent in ODSM from entering a child group which already is a parent of the parent group (means circular reference). This causes our LDAP search to hang at times and brings down the whole system. How can this be avoided?
