BI Publisher Issues-64-bit vs 32-bit?

On my laptop, I am running 32-bit Windows OS with a 32-bit version of Word 2010.

We are in the process of upgrading to HR 92 with PeopleTools 8.53.,

I logged into my HR92 tools 8.53 development database via PIA and downloaded the BI Publisher tool for a 32-bit install.

Then, while still in PIA I created a very simple public query (called it PSDTEST) that prompts for an emplid and returns First Name Middle Name and Last Name - saved the query, ran it  and saved the output as PSDTEST.XML.

Back on my laptop, I created a simple PSDTEST.rtf, clicked on the Bi Publisher tab, did 'Load Sample Data' for PSDTEST.XML and was able to preview the output just fine in a .PDF output.
