Peopletools 8.53 Pivot Grids - Detailed Data View

The max row in the Pivot Grid Drilldown - Detailed Data View is 300.
Is there a way to include all the rows into the Detailed Data View? Also, when exporting the Detailed Data View to Excel, it will only exports the 300 rows displayed on the grid and will not export all results to excel. Is there a way to change this or is it by design to only see 300 on the Detailed Data View.
If by design, I am guessing that if the user wanted to get all the data, they would have to go to query to get the full result set.
