PeopleTools Upgrade - PS/nVision - nvsuser.xls file

We are upgrading from PeopleTools 8.51 to 8.53.  Rather than reapplying all our customizations to the new nvsuser.xls file, we are thinking about copying over the nvsuser.xls file.  Are there any disadvantages of copying over the nvsuser.xls file used in PeopleTools 8.51 and using it in PeopleTools 8.53?  Would we lose any of the PeopleTools 8.52 and 8.53 enhancements?
