virtual machin (VM ware)

Hi,

we have been successfully using our development and test PeopleSoft environments (Batch, App.Server, Database) on virtual machine boxes (VM Ware). up , running fine from couple years.

But we have our Production server(s), all running on physical machines.

Question: can we have our production server(s) on vmware virtual boxes too.

why I ask?

because, if we do so, will Oracle support (or its certified) our Production PeopleSoft environments on VMWare?

In the past, from the oracle mysupport, it was mentioned that, it doesn't support PeopleSoft instances on virtual boxes. (we are in 8.49 Peopletools and 9.0 Application).

Note: we are about to upgrade to 8.53 Peopletools.
