Is nVision only used on Ledger tables?

Hello,

We are on Financials 9.0 thru Bundle 35 and PeopleTools 8.52.  Is nVision limited to only reporting on data from the Ledger tables?  For example, if you wanted to report directly from PS_VCHR_ACCTG_LINE, could you do so in an nVision report (not in the drilldown)?

Please help.
