Messagebox getting stuck after tools upgrade

Hi,

I have just upgraded my HR8.9 system from PT 8.46.05 to 8.52.21.

The upgrade went fine but I have a problem.

Testing showed a problem that whenever Peoplesoft displayed a message to a user that the message would then get stuck and the user could not progress despite pressing the message buttons (OK, Yes, No, Cancel – whatever was appropriate).  This was a show stopper as the system presents messages for many reasons.

For example:

If I sign on as PS and go to:

Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data

and if I then press enter without entering any selection criteria it opens a message box with this error:
