OAM 11gR2 authorization policy search for users

When I was configuring authentication policies, searching for groups worked fine.  However, when I tried to search for a user with the login ID the tool would not find any entries.  If I put some part of the “CN” as the user value it will find users and lists the UID as the Entity Name.  If I try to search for my login ID, no entries are found.  If I search for my name, then several entries are found.  It displays the entries like UID is the key but it is obviously taking whatever is entered into the search box
