Create a letter in CRM support
Hi all,
I am a junior support for CRM. We received a request to generate a letter to print it as follow:
- When the user changes the case status to a particular status, and
- After saving (postsave)
- Display the 'formatted' text / letter, so user can print from the window displaying the text/letter. Sending the text/body of letter via email, was NOT accepted by user.
- The terms should be pulled from the "Case" page.
We currently have CRM 8.9 with PT 8.49, upgrading is coming up, not soon enough though.
How can I accomplish this? I have been reading AAF documentation and also creating template documentation. Oracle support recommended creating an alert through AAF, without much information on how to do it. I created an alert, but the alert was not in formatted text, and did not have the functionality to print from the window.
