Oracle Linked Server Performance

hi, forgive me if I'm in the wrong section.

wondering if anyone has any insight on linked servers from sql server to connection to Oracle DB.

we seem to be having performance issues since we've moved over from 10g to 11g.

When we do a straight query to pull data from Oracle via SQL Server linked server, we noticed a significant performance degradation ever since we moved over to 11g.

We're not entirely too sure if this is driver related or network related, but the only thing that has changed is we moved from a windows based 10g to 11g on an AIX.
