Recipient Verification with Web Services using Integration Broker

I am new to creating Web Services via Integration Broker in PeopleSoft. I have created Synchronous Service Operations in a Web Service that can be requested with a Soap request message (using a generated Soap template in PeopleSoft and also from a Soap UI 4.5.1 application) and returns data in message, with no verification or password required. We need to be able to retrict access to these service though, but I am not sure exactly what is required to setup this verification? We do not want passwords display in messages and I have not been able to get the password
