Vacation Rules

Hi

We have a request to update the Vacation rule for  a user.We wanted to do it from backend with help of a script.I could see the rule in wf_routing_rules tables

Could you please let us  know if there is any script to update the END DATE for a vaction rule??Do we need to update some other table along with it also??

Does impacting this table would impact the workflow in any way??
