PLCACHE taking long time to complete

Hello,

We are planning to apply the latest PeopleTools patch and refresh the application shared cache. The last time we ran the PLCACHE job was Nov 2013 after the PeopleTools upgrade. Back then the runtime was 27hrs. Now, we ran it again but it completed after 59hrs which will not fit a weekend outage.

Database:

AIX 6.1, 12CPU (3.7GHz), 160GB RAM, Oracle 11.2.0.3

Size:550GB

Application Server/PSNT

Windows 2008R2, 24Cores, 64GB RAM

Application/Tools

HR9.0/PT8.52.17

21 Languages
