PTF in single sign on enabled PeopleSoft applications.

Is it possible to use PTF(PeopleTools Test Framework) functionality in a single sign on (SSO) enabled PeopleSoft environment? Please advise the required/mandatory data setups and configuration needed to enable the same. If it is not a straightforward option then please suggest any workaround approach that can make it feasible.
