Help on peoplesoft backup and recovery

Hello expert,

My customer is planning to move his Hardware from one site to another IDC center. Before the relocation he need to prepare a backup and recovery plan in case there is some unexpected issues during the movement.

Basic system information is as following

1. the version is psft 9.1

2. there are two web and app servers on load balance mode

My questions are:

1. is there any way to clone the whole system including DB and PSFT? in case the hardware is crash, customer could recover the whole application from storage.

2. could PSFT application be backed up on a virtulized platform such as Vmware and can be restored to provide service
