document where expain that can configure 2 network cards (100M, 10G) in the same server

Hi

do you know if exist some document where explain that can configure 2 network cards in solaris servers,   1 of 100MB,  segment 192.X.X.X an another of 10GB,  segment 151.X.X.X in the same server

the question is because security area say that they had problems when configured 2 cards with diferents segments in one server

they comment that had present a reset in all the network or network down
