Rman trying to backup controlfile of another DB

Situation:

4 servers connected together with multiple versions of Oracle and Multiple databases.

Case in question 2 DB are 10205, one is and active/active RAC called M1 and M2, the other is an active/inactive RAC called C1 (active) and C2 (inactive).

Both DB use rman catalog.

Sometimes the controlfile backup for C1 fails with below messages.

RMAN-03009: failure of Control File Autobackup command on t1 channel at 07/16/2014 12:17:55

ORA-19563: control file header validation failed for file /dbvol1/M/admin/scripts/dba_jobs/rman/M1.ctl

The control files for C1 are located under

/dbvol1/C1/redo1/c1_control01.ctl
