Is there a way to automatically submit invoices to approval workflow?
We are enabling approval workflow for credit (and rebill) invoices. We know that bills loaded via Billing Interface or Billing Worksheet are exempt from workflow. That is, the approval status comes in as a 0 (Not Required). All bills created online (for business units for which we've enabled workflow) are saved with an approval status of 1 (Initial). Once invoices are in a RDY status, we can submit them into workflow where the status changes to 3 (approved because we don't require approval on that set of bills) or 2 (pending approval).
