RMS index partitioning during v14 installation

in Retail Merchandising System (MOSC) Question

Hi fellow members

I (and by DBA) are performing trial installations of v14 (we already use v12 for some years). Our original installation of v12 was carried out by consultants, but we are working on the v14 installation ourselves.

While I understand the table partitioning process reasonably well, I do not understand how I can "instruct" the installer for corresponding table indexes.

In the "RMS_partition_definition.xlsx" spreadsheet, there is a sheet tab for RMS Indexes which I can fill in. But my understanding is that the spreadsheet is only to allow you to calculate and document your plan for partitioning. It does not generate any files, ddl or anything else.
