Pivot Grids - v9.2 HCM

We are on 9.2 HCM (tools 8.53.10). My question is about Pivot Grids, using the option "Grid Only".

Is there anyway to display the grid based on a query that has 3 fields selected. For example, if my Query has Employee Name, Birth Date and Service Date as the fields. Using pivot grid, you have to have at least one field as axis, one as value and one as display. The resulting grid will display employee name and for birth date (if selected as Value) shows the count (as a link). One has to click on the count link for the row to expand. Is there anyway to get around so the grid displays all three fields without
