Multiple Tuxedo APPQ's PSAPPSRV.UBX config?

Hello Everyone,

I'm reading through an older book 'PeopleSoft for the Oracle DBA' and exploring the possibility of creating multiple APPQ's within a single tuxedo domain for our peoplesoft instances. I'm doing this because i'm trying to reduce the number of domains we're running per server, but in order to do this, we'd have to bump up the number of psappsrvs per domain to near 40 and i'm concerned that there will be contention on the APPQ with that many processes. Thus i'm looking for ways to mitigate this.

In the book, David Kurtz talks about the need to manually calculate and hardcode the MAXACCESSERS, MAXSERVERS, and MAXSERVICES variables in the psappsrv.ubb file. The formulas listed in this book were done for people tools 8.44 or some earlier version and he mentions they can change. My question is, does anyone have experience creating multiple APPQ's in a single tuxedo domain in the last few years(or even tools 8.52 perhaps) and if so, where did you find the formulas to calculate these values?
