EBS server and SSO server in different domain

Hi,

We are trying to implement SSO with EBS r12.1.3 with FMW 11g products.

WLS - 10.3.6 , OHS 11.1.1.5 , IDM 11.1.2.2 , OAM 11.1.2.2 with webgate and EAG.

Currently the EBS application node is running in a server registered with a domain(.xxx.com) . The database node in another domain (.yyy.com)

The Server given to us to install and configure the SSO components is registered with a different domain. (.zzz.com)

Up to my knowledge i think all the server got to be registered with the same domain.

Will SSO functionality work with these server registered with different domain ?

If not kindly let me know , what i need to do to make it work.
