PTUPGCONVERT running slow in Tools upgrade 8.52 to 8.53

We are in the initial pass of a FSCM 9.1 to 9.2 upgrade and in the PeopleTools upgrade section. I'm running PTUPGCONVERT from the CA and it is running quite slow. The state record shows AE_APPLID = UPGPT851DBC AE_SECTION = MAIN

This in an Oracle database running on Unix. PTUPGCONVERT running from Change Assistant on Windows server 2008 R2.

Any insight will be appreciated.
