TableSpace PSIMAGE2 growing large

We noticed on the first day of classes, the tablespace PSIMAGE2 is growing very quickly. It was set to auto extend until it reaches 32 gigs during the upgrade to PT 8.53. Today, it filled up to 100% and the DBA has to create a new data file for it to use with 10 gigs of space.

We noticed the IBLOGDATA and certain SYSLOB records were filling it fast. We turned off IB logging as much as we can. However, it is growing at a faster rate still.

We were wondering what else can be done to slow its growth and if there is a possibility to cleanup the tablespace.
