Running PeopleSoft on Oracle Exadata or Oracle Database Appliance Hardware

edited Sep 16, 2014 5:06AM in PeopleTools and Lifecycle Management - PSFT (MOSC) 3 commentsAnswered

I have a number of questions related to running PeopleSoft on Oracle Exadata or Oracle Database Appliance hardware.  I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but the questions are PeopleSoft specific, so I have posted here.

My questions are...

1 - Can a PeopleSoft Process Scheduler run on a Oracle Database Appliance?  I know this cannot be done on an Oracle Exadata machine
2 - If no, how do you minimize (or resolve) batch processing performance problems when a PeopleSoft Process Scheduler is not running directly on this type of "Oracle-only" hardware?

3 - Any recommendations for documentation to review when considering running PeopleSoft on this type of Oracle hardware?

Howdy, Stranger!
