How to log into multiple PeopleSoft environments (Test, UAT, Prod, Int) without impacting other sess

Looking for guidance on this issue.  If our BA's are in Test, and try to log into another PeopleSoft environment, say UAT, they're frequently invalidated on their existing logins.  I've read everything from using different browsers for each environment? (IE, Chrome, Firefox, etc).  Also seen cases where the users need to start a 'fresh' IE program, and not just open another tab?
