CA version for FSCM 9.1 with tools 8.53.10 application upgrade to 9.2

We're preparing our 9.1, tools 8.53.10 application upgrade to 9.2  with no intention for tools upgrade. Image 8 is now out with tools 8.54.01. I understand we need to have the highest CA version 8.54.01 for extract and applying required for upgrade patches using PUM to our source DEMO. Do you know if we can use this 8.54.01 CA for our 9.1 to 9.2 upgrade that has tools 8.53.10? Or we must switch back to tools 8.53.10 CA for the upgrade?
