Retroactive Price Question

I'm aware of the Retroactive Price update functionality for BPA releases. We have setup the PO: Allow Retroactive Pricing of POs set to OPEN RELEASES.

When we update the Price on the BPA and do not select checkbox - "Apply Price Update to Existing POs and Releases" it will update the BPA and will effect the new releases.

Is there any workaround to selectively update the BPA releases that are already received and consumed to the new price?
