Step "Copying the PPLTLS84CUR Project" Fails in Update Manager fot PT 854 Upgrade

After this step fails, I can't even log in as a 2 tier client. I am getting a "System Error : Invalid User ID and password for signon." message in my log file. Everything else seemed to be working up until then.
