How to consume an External REST Web Service in Peoplesoft

I'm looking for documentation that describes how to consume/access RESTful web services in Peoplesoft i.e. Peoplecode.  There is a Wizard that allows you to configure the consumption of SOAP based services; but not for RESTful services.  It appears that you need to manually create the documents and messages, but I'm not sure what are the steps to identify the URI and reference it appropriately and what steps you need to take to create each component needed.
