Issue with EOAWTHREAD_ID in eProcurment getnextnumberwithgapscommit

in PeopleTools and Lifecycle Management - PSFT (MOSC)

We are currently experiencing an issue with eProcurement requistion routings.  Requisitons are being edited and some how on re-submittal they are getting a lower .EOAWTHREAD_ID than on the original workflow.  This is causing the wrong workflow to be dispalyed once the requistion is fully approved or denied.

Any insights you could provide would be great.
