What are the unique differences between Unpaid Reason and Dispute Code?

I am familiar with Dispute Codes however I am struggling to find any concrete purpose for Unpaid Reason.  Can someone please assist in explaining how Unpaid reason is used and how it differs from Dispute Code.  Thank you.
