Supplier OnBoarding - Exposing PeopleSoft Outside the Firewall

edited Oct 14, 2014 10:00AM in PeopleTools and Lifecycle Management - PSFT (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

We are looking to expose the Supplier Onboarding feature to our External Suppliers. These outside Suppliers would be accessing the PeopleSoft 9.2 through internet. Looked at Doc ID 620422.1 (Red Paper on Best Practices For Securing Your PeopleSoft Application Environment) which is helpful but created in 2010. Other than this document I could not see any relevent information.  I am looking for below specific information.

1) Has any of you implemented Supplier On-boarding and exposed to outside users? What was the architecture used?

2) We are looking at "Example 2 with dual stack - using a common database but separate dedicated Web/App server" on page 59. This option requires Additional security and Protection Layer on the DB server. Requires - "Data Vault", "TDE" and "Audit Valult". Would like to know what additional security would be needed.

Howdy, Stranger!
